Steps Involved in Anodizing:

A part to be completely anodized needs to undergo following steps:

1. Electrolyte Bath part is submerged in electrolyte bath.
2. DC Current Application causes oxidation to occur at surface of the metal.
3. In Anodic Oxide Formation controlled oxidation of part is done as result anodic oxide layer is formed of varying thickness, depending on the desired properties.
4. Dyeing is done for decorative anodizing and for that dye can be added to the bath due to which the part is dyed during anodizing process.
